We have already seen how you can install custom firmware on PSP, so let us now see how to install the CXMB plugin to use custom themes. To use the CXMB theme your PSP should be running a custom firmware with CXMB plugin installed on it. Custom CXMB (Custom XrossMediaBar) themes, on the other hand are cool, funky and pleasing to eyes, but you can’t use them straight away. However, most of these official themes are boring and are not much of an eye candy. If you are looking forward to apply an official theme, you can simply copy it to your PSP Theme folder and apply it from PSP Theme Settings.
